Q: How do I change the wallpaper?
A: From the apps menu, in the top right corner of the screen there is a settings icon (3 dots arranged horizontally) click on it and then click on Main Menu Wallpaper. Be advised that the wallpaper in the bottom right corner is transparent.
Q: How do I turn on the wi-fi, Bluetooth, data?
A: Drag the quick settings bar down (top of the screen), you will find all these features in the manu.
Q: How do I access the DTS function?
A: Enter the Music app; then click on songs, and then settings (3 dost arranged horizontally in the top right corner).
Q: How do I turn my phone into a wi-fi hotspot?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All settings - > More -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> WLAN Hotspot -> Set-up Wi-Fi hotspot (enter a name and password) -> Save.
Q: How do I select a 3G network for one of the two SIM cards?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All settings - >Mobile Networks -> 3G service -> Enable 3G -> Select a SIM.
Q: Why do some APK type apps malfunction?
A: A large number of APK apps are launched by developers without prior testing, thus, some apps might not be compatible with your phone.
Q: How do I turn off predictive typing?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All Settings -> Language & Input -> De-select the Spell Checker.
Q: How do I reset the phone to the factory settings?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All Settings ->Back-up & reset -> WARNING: Make sure you back up your data -> Factory reset.
Q: How do I set different ringtones for each of the SIM cards?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All settings - > Sound and vibrate ->Voice call ringtone -> Select a different ringtone for each of the two SIMs.
Q: How do I redirect calls?
A: Follow the steps: Enter the phone function (as you you make a call) -> click on the settings menu -> Voice Call -> Call forwarding -> select from the options available:
Always forward, Forward when busy, Forward when unanswer -> forward when unreachable
Then, enter the phone number that you wish to forward your calls to -> Enable
*Take note that in order to receive a call on the SIM which is in use (the number saved in the callforwarding option) you must also have the call waiting function activated. To activate this function follow the steps below:
Enter the phone function (as you you make a call) -> click on the settings menu -> Voice Call -> Additional Settings -> Call Waiting.
Q: How do I set a picture for a contact?
A: Menu -> Gallery -> Choose a picture -> Click on the menu tab at the bottom left of the screen -> Set picture as -> Contact Photo -> Complete action using Contacts –> Select a contact from the agenda.
Q: How do I set-up face unlock?
A: Menu -> Settings -> All Settings -> Security -> Screen lock -> Face Unlock -> Follow the insturctions to set up the function.
Q: How do I delete all messages from a contact?
A: Messages -> Click the menu icon at the bottom right of the screen (3 horizontal dots) -> Long click on the contact you wish to delete messages from -> Select ->Click on the trash bin icon in the bottom left of the screen.
