2/27/2018 | News27.02.2018 – Allview, the European smartphones and tablets brand, presented its latest news at MWC Barcelona 2018. Allview introduced a new smart concept developed around the AVI voice assistant, which can integrate up to 100 languages.
AVI is taking the first steps on the smart home territory and, through its newest version, will be able to command the electronic home devices, through a smart controller developed by the company’s research and development team. The smart controller can be quickly installed on the home’s power sources and managed through the Allview smart devices. As well, the Romanian company is developing new features which will allow the user to order services and common goods through the AVI voice assistant.
A prototype for a new concept developed by the Allview team was also presented at MWC 2018: View Bass, a smart speaker with an integrated display. AVI and View Bass will be interconnected, and the users are able to ask the voice assistant to play videos from YouTube, call or send messages to the existing contacts, display the weather report, create shopping lists and many more. As well, the users can make video calls with family and friends, turn on the TV or set the temperature from their homes through the smart speaker.
“The new concept developed by the company and the launch of the View Bass smart speaker mark a new step in the AVI evolution. We are getting closer to our vision from the very beginning of our journey as a brand – to provide the users with the means to control their lifestyle as easiest as possible, through technology”, stated Lucian Peticila, Allview fonder. “Many steps were needed to reach this point, which wouldn’t have been possible without the technological leap of the past years and the extension of the R&D team”, added Lucian Peticila.
At MWC 2018, Allview revealed an interactive stand through which the participants were able to test the AVI voice assistant on the Allview smartphones, in 11 languages (Romanian, English, Spanish, Polish, German, Czech, Hungarian, Serbian, Greek, Bulgarian, and Slovak). The stand simulated specific commands that can turn a house into a smart home: turning on the lights or the electronic devices. The smart controller which took on the AVI commands is to be included in the Allview portfolio in the upcoming period.
