Allview – Welcome to Allview Data and Privacy Policy

When you access our Apps and Services you share information with us and others. It is important to us that you feel safe knowing that only information you give us permission and you accept, are shared or accessed. This Privacy Policy will help you understand and know which information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it and where is it stored. This is important to us and to you, that is why we ask you to take your time and read this carefully. Remember that in My Account you can control and manage privacy and security settings.

When does Allview Policy apply

This Policy applies to all Visual Fan S.A. and affiliates Services, except those who have their own Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to your search results, sites that may include Allview Services, or other sites linked to our services. Our privacy does not cover information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Allview – Privacy Policy

Our Policy Privacy tells you what, information we collect and how we collect it – personal/confidential data how we use that information and the choices we offer. There are so many ways you can share information with us, like: searching and sharing data, communicating with other people, or creating new content. When you create a Allview Account, we can make our Services even better. We kept things as simple as possible, but if you are not familiar with some important terms, please read Essential Terms first. Either you are a fresh new user or an experienced one, your privacy matters to us.

Aimed persons

The Client, it’s empowered person and any other individual whose personal data get to the Provider, by any means, during the contractual relation between him and the Client. The Client guarantees the Provider that he has previously obtained the express and unequivocal agreement for processing the personal data of the other individuals whose personal data become available to the Provider, the latter being exonerated of any responsibility for paying compensation and damages.

Information we collect – Allview

We collect information that you give us and information we get from your use of our Services. From simple things as the language you use, to the more complex data like unique phone identifiers. So depending on what services you use, we collect different information from you or about you.

By personal data it is understood, through the acting legislation, any information regarding an individual, identified or identifiable. An identifiable person is the one that can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identification number or to one of the many specific factors of its physical, physiologic, psychologic, economic, cultural or social identity. In this category may be included: name, surname, address, citizenship, social security number, all the other data mentioned in the act with which the Client/Empowered person has identified himself, e-mail address, phone number, any information from any document signed with Visual Fan S.A. – Allview Romania, including the contract regarding the provision of products and services, the signature, the image, the voice, the phone calls with the Provider, any other documents or information, including financial, banking, without limitation, and those that must/will be processed by Visual Fan in accordance with the law, an act of authority without limitation that becomes available to the Provider/Operator for the duration contractual relationship between the himself and the Client.

By processing the personal data, it is understood any operation or set of operations executed on the personal data, by automatic or non-automatic means, like collecting, recording, organizing, storage, adapting or modifying, extracting, consulting, using, displaying to third parties by sending, disseminating, or in any other way, joining or combining, blocking, deleting or destructing.

The purposes of processing personal data may be: evidence or execution of any contracts/documents signed by the Provider and Client, advertising, marketing (direct), advert, advertising lotteries, statistics, debt collection/recovery, reports to group societies and/or to the supervising authorities from Romania and/or abroad, portfolio and risk management, video surveillance, fraud prevention and money laundering, combating terrorist financing, providing electronic communications services and products and promoting them in any medium including, on the basis of personal data provided by the Client, sending of communications, assessing the Client's behavior in the online environments, including on the basis of the personal data provided, testing, development, use of new services and products including in the area of electronic communications, compilation of subscriber registrations, database storage in Romania and/or abroad), the fulfillment of any requirements regarding the Operator's activity and/or his business interests.


Therefore regarding information you give us, we may collect:
    •    Name, email address, telephone number or credit card to store with your account. If you want to take full advantage of the sharing features we offer, we might also ask you to create a publicly visible Allview Profile, which may include your name and photo.
    •    Information about payments
If you use our Services for purchases or financial transactions (like buying a produce or a Service we provide) we collect information about the purchase or transaction. This includes your payment information, such as your credit or debit card number and other card information, and other account and authentication information, as well as billing, shipping and contact details.

Regarding information we get, from your use of our services, we collect:
    •    Device-specific information
We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent Services across your devices
Hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number). Allview may associate your device identifiers or phone number with your Allview Account
    •    Log information
Details of how you used our service, such as your search queries, telephony log information like your phone number, calling-party number, forwarding numbers, time and date of calls, duration of calls, SMS routing information and types of calls, Internet protocol address, device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your Allview Account
    •    Location information
We may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide Google with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and cell towers
    •    Unique application numbers
This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to Allview when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers, such as for automatic updates
    •    Local storage
We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage - including HTML 5 and application data caches
    •    Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a Google service, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. We also use these technologies to collect and store information when you interact with services we offer to our partners, such as advertising services or Allview features that may appear on other sites.
    •    Information from websites and apps that use our Services.
We collect information when you visit or use third-party websites and apps that use our Services. This includes information about the websites and apps you visit, your use of our Services on those websites and apps, as well as information the developer or publisher of the app or website provides to you or us.
    •    Allview companies.
We receive information about you from companies that are owned or operated by Allview, in accordance with their terms and policies. Learn more about these companies and their privacy policies.

The information we collect when you are signed in to Allview, in addition to the information we obtain about you from partners, may be associated with your Allview Account. When information is associated with your Allview Account, we treat it as personal information

What do we do with the information we collect? – Allview

We collect information from all our Services in order to maintain, provide, protect and improve them, and to protect Allview and our users, and develop new Services. We may also use this information to give you special offers and give you custom content, like more relevant search results. We may use the name you provide on your Allview Account in order for you to access other Services linked to Allview. If others have your e-mail, or other basic information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible Allview Account information, such as name and photo. When you use your Allview Account or other accounts linked to our Services we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on us or other third-party applications connected to your Allview Account. We fully understand if you want to limit sharing or visibility settings in your Allview Account.

When you contact us, we keep record of your communication to help solve any issue you might be up against. We may use your email address to keep you up to date about our Services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements. We use your information to send you marketing communications, communicate with you about our Services and let you know about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

We use the information we have to improve our advertising and measurement systems so we can show you relevant ads on and off our Services and measure the effectiveness and reach of ads and services.

The addressees of the data may be: the persons concerned, the representatives of the person concerned, the public authorities and institutions (whatever their name) from Romania and/or abroad, according to the law, the courts and/or arbitrary tribunals in Romania and/or abroad, according to the law, employees, collaborators of the Provider from Romania and/or abroad, debtors or debt recovery companies in Romania and/or abroad, any other contractual/non-contractual partner of the Provider in Romania and/or abroad, including the empowered persons of the Provider in Romania and/or from abroad.

Promote safety and security.

We use the information we have to help verify accounts and activity, and to promote safety and security on and off of our Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies. We work hard to protect your account using teams of engineers, automated systems, and advanced technology such as encryption and machine learning
Information collected from cookies and other technologies, is used to improve your user experience and overall quality of our Services. By example, by knowing your language preferences, we will be able to have our services appear in the language you prefer and use.
We will not associate an identifier from cookies or similar technologies with sensitive categories, such as those based on race, religion, sexual orientation or health.
We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information we have to evaluate and improve products and services, develop new products or features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.
We may combine personal information from one service with information, including personal information, from other Google services – for example to make it easier to share things with people you know. Depending on your account settings, your activity on other sites and apps may be associated with your personal information in order to improve Allview’s services and the ads delivered by Allview, if we have them.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
Allview processes personal information on our servers in many countries around the world. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live.
How is this information shared – Allview
We will not share personal information with other companies, individuals and organizations outside of Allview, unless one of the following occur:

With your consent


We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Allview when we have your consent to do so. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
With domain administrators
If your Allview Account is managed for you by a domain administrator (for example, for Allview Apps users) then your domain administrator and resellers who provide user support to your organization will have access to your Allview Account information (including your email and other data). Your domain administrator may be able to:
    •    view statistics regarding your account, like statistics regarding applications you install.
    •    change your account password.
    •    suspend or terminate your account access.
    •    access or retain information stored as part of your account.
    •    receive your account information in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
    •    restrict your ability to delete or edit information or privacy settings.

For external processing

We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

For legal reasons


We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Allview if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:


    •    meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
    •    enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
    •    detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
    •    protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Allview, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.

Vendors, service providers and other partners.

We transfer information to vendors, service providers, and other partners who globally support our business, such as providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our Services are used, measuring the effectiveness of ads and services, providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting academic research and surveys. These partners must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in a way that is consistent with this Data Policy and the agreements we enter into with them.

If Allview is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Responding to legal requests - Allview

We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of Romania where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. For example, we may provide information to third-party partners about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud and abuse on and off of our Services. Information we receive about you, including financial transaction data related to purchases made with Allview Account or other Services, may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also may retain information from accounts disabled for violations of our terms for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other violations of our terms.
 
Updating your personal information – Allview

Because we want to provide you with the best Services, whenever you use our Services we will give you access to your personal information. If that information is wrong we may ask you to update it or to delete it, unless we have to keep it for legitimate business or legal purposes. We may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request, when you update your personal information.

We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).

Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.

Changes to our Privacy Policy – Allview

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will notify you immediately. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent. Any changes will be posted on this page, and if changes are significant, we will offer you a more explicit notice (including email notification). You can ask us anytime for prior version of this Policy.

The estimated period for the processing of personal/confidential data

*Allview will process the personal data, for accomplishing the purposes previously mentioned, in a timeline of 3 years, for the development of Allview’s current activity and/or accomplishing the legitimate interests of the Provider, with the exception in which another end term is imposed by the law, in which case that deadline shall apply, and afterwards the data will automatically be deleted.

The traffic data is processed during the period of the contracts signed with the Client, and in a timeline of 3 years after the cease of these contract, with the exceptions in which the law imposes another term, in which case that term shall apply.

Data transfer abroad

The operator may transfer outside Romania the personal data, inside and outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, as a following or with the purposes previously mentioned, or to comply to a contract between the concerned persons and the Provider, or to sign or execute a signed contract (or soon to be signed), in the interest of the concerned people, between a third party and the Provider.

The provisions of the previous alignment will also apply to the Client’s traffic data and location data (other than the traffic data), that concern the Client.

The rights of the concerned person

*According to the active legislation, the concerned people benefit from the right to access the data, the right of intervention over the data, the right to oppose, the right to information, the right to not be subjected to an individual decision, the right to data portability, the right to ask the deletion of any data and the right to address a court of justice; all these rights shall apply through written request, dated and signed before the Operator, with the exception of the right to address the court of justice, which shall apply through written request submitted to the competent court. Deletion of the data shall be made in maximum 60 days from when the operator has received the request.

Special operations

The Operator may process: (i) the following traffic data: the duration of the phone calls, the traffic data volume, the date and time of the call, the network in which the call was made (in the case of roaming), the dialed phone number, the IP address, the SIM identifier, the phone identifier, the moment of connection to the data, the network adaptor identifier, the positioning of the terminal equipment, for the purpose of invoicing the subscribers and/or establishing the payment obligations for interconnection; (ii) the traffic data shown at subsection (i), for the purpose of commercializing its services and/or providing value-added services, only to the extent necessary and for the duration of the commercialization, respectively the provision of these services.

The Operator may process the location data (the geographical area where the traffic was made), other than the traffic one, as much and as long as necessary for providing a value-added service. This data may be sent to a third party with the purpose of providing a value-added service.

The Operator may process, for administration purposes, the following information: the Client’s data, the WiFi password, the IP address, the network adaptor identifier, kept in the terminal equipment.

The Operator may record and storage the phone calls with the Client.

Other clauses

By adhering to this policy, the user:

(i) has expressed its agreement for the minimal personal data, strictly necessary for executing the initial contract/contracts of service provision (respectively name, surname, address, social security number, phone number and/or email), remains validly expressed, thus the initial contract/contracts of service provision will continue to generate effects;

(ii) has read, before signing, the present Declaration, which he fully understood, and completely and expressly accepted each of its clauses, expressly and unequivocally agreeing to personal data processing, according to the present Declaration;

(iii) for preventing a possible fraud, has agreed to the retaining and processing, but he Operator, of its ID copies and the act that attests the right upon the place of providing the Operator’s products and services;

(iv) has understood that he may request the Provider, at any time, the cease of the processing of personal data, through written request, dated and signed, addressed to the Provider, at the address mentioned in the present Declaration. This, as well as exercising the right to opposition, may lead to the impossibility of provision of Allview services and products, with the effect to ceasing the contracts, based on a written notification, sent to the Client, thus exonerating Allview of any responsibility of payment of compensation and indemnification in this sense;

(v) his signature for this Policy, as well as expressing agreement in the online environment, attests that he has agreed with the above mentioned.

 

 

User Data Notice under the EU Personal Data Law

In accordance with our obligations under the EU Personal Data Law (Regulation (EU) 2022/868), in force from 12 September 2025, we hereby provide you, as users of our products and services, this timely notice to clearly inform you about the data collected through our household appliances and devices, as well as other important pre-contractual information relevant to you.

This is to ensure transparency and to uphold your rights as a user to access and manage the data generated by using our products.

Data from your home appliances and devices manufactured and/or distributed by Visual Fan S.A. (air conditioners / phones / tablets / photovoltaic systems/scales/refrigerators/washing machines) are collected when you connect them to the mobile application. This data is owned and managed by Visual Fan S.A , 61 Brazilor Street, Brașov, Romania , as the data controller in accordance with the EU Data Protection Act .

For devices distributed by Visual Fan S.A but connected via the VIDAA mobile app or Android OS and not via the AVI / ERA Health / ERA Food apps, please refer to the official VIDAA / Android websites as they operate as separate and independent entities.

Please note that this notice mainly concerns non-personal data collected through the use of connected products. For information on the processing of personal data, please refer to our Data Protection Policy, available on our official websites and through the AVI / ERA Health / ERA Food applications.

B. Retention Period

In accordance with our obligations under EU Personal Data Law, below are specific retention periods for different types of non-personal data collected through connected appliances. After these periods have expired, the data will no longer be accessible to the user.

Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, the data will be either securely deleted or anonymized. Anonymization involves aggregating or converting data into statistical form, ensuring that it cannot be associated with any individual user or device ID.

For information on the retention of personal data, please refer to our Data Protection Policy, available on our website and in the ConnectLife mobile application.

Non-personal data collected from your connected devices is retained exclusively for:

  • Ensuring proper operation, maintenance and timely troubleshooting of devices
  • Supporting energy efficiency and water consumption and optimizing product performance
  • Analyze usage patterns to develop and provide services that enhance user comfort and convenience
  • Enable users to interact with devices in a more intuitive and autonomous way, simplifying daily tasks
  • Providing product and/or service recommendations, subject to meeting all other applicable requirements
  • Improve smart use of home appliances to improve everyday life
  • We drive innovation and continuous development of our products
  • Provide proactive and personalized customer support based on real-time device status and usage
  • Fulfillment of applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including those set out in EU Personal Data Law
  • Promote transparency and accountability in the management and use of your data

C. Data classification

When you create a profile in our AVI / ERA Health / ERA Food mobile application and connect your appliance, we collect both personal and non-personal data.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Please note that the main purpose of this notice is not to inform you about the processing of your “obvious” personal data (such as name, surname, email or user ID), but to inform you about technical, non-personal data (metadata) collected in connection with your use of the product.

Non-personal data, such as technical information related to product usage (e.g., temperature settings, usage cycles, energy consumption, error logs) is collected as per the sections above, by product category. While this data is considered non-personal by nature, it may become personal data when linked to identifiable information from your ConnectLife profile - such as your first name, last name, email address, or user ID.

In such cases, even seemingly technical, non-personal data is treated as personal data and managed appropriately to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, including both the General Data Protection Regulation and EU Data Protection Law.

D. Data security measures

We are committed to protecting the data collected from your connected devices through robust security practices. To ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data, we implement a number of technical and organizational measures, including, but not limited to:

  • Data encryption to prevent unauthorized access
  • Secure authentication protocols to ensure only authorized users have access to data
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Access controls and role-based permissions to restrict data access to only necessary personnel
  • Continuous monitoring of our systems to detect and promptly respond to potential security incidents

These measures are reviewed and updated regularly to align with evolving security standards and legal requirements, including those set out in EU Data Protection Law. Our goal is to maintain a secure environment that protects your data throughout its lifecycle.

E. Transfer and formatting – Exercise of users’ access rights

The data listed above are accessible to the user upon request starting September 12, 2025, for the duration of the applicable retention periods described in this notice. Users may submit a request by contacting us by email at privacy@connectlife.io.

Access to your data is provided free of charge through secure transfer via electronic channels via an encrypted download link generated by the system, ensuring the safe delivery of your information.

All data is made available in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.


F. Trade secrets and confidential business information

In accordance with EU Personal Data Law, we are committed to protecting our trade secrets and confidential business information. Certain data generated by our products may contain confidential information that is essential to our competitive position and innovation efforts.

Please note that under EU Data Protection Law, we are not required to share data that includes such trade secrets or confidential business information if disclosure would harm our legitimate business interests. When access to data is granted, strict confidentiality measures are applied to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of sensitive information.

This approach ensures that you can benefit from data-driven services, while we protect our proprietary technologies and competitive advantages.

 

G. Data accessibility by other parties

In order to produce, deliver and continuously improve our products and services, certain non-personal data collected from connected home appliances may be shared with other parties. A complete list of these companies is maintained in a separate document, accessible via the following link .

Any data sharing with these companies is governed by agreements and legal requirements that ensure compliance with the EU Data Protection Act and other applicable data protection laws. These agreements govern how data is managed, used and protected and limit access to the purposes described above.

In accordance with the obligations set out in the Personal Data Law, this notice on the Personal Data Law is intended to provide you, as a user of a smart TV running a VIDAA operating system, with the necessary product data (hereinafter referred to as "Product Data") and related service data (hereinafter referred to as "Service Data"), as provided for in article 3 paragraphs (2) and (3) of the Personal Data Law.

1. Connected products and services included in the scope of this notice

The following connected products and related services fall within the scope of this Personal Data Act Notice:

The VIDAA Smart TV App is a connected service as defined in the Personal Data Law and generates data about user actions and events (including metadata) related to connected products (“Service Data”).

2. Delivery, access and deletion

    • - Access to non-personal data: Some self-service downloads are available via my.vidaa.com . For other data, please submit an access request via https://www.vidaa.com/support/, in which case we will deliver the data via secure download and, by default, in the following format: Apache Parquet. The size of each log file is approx. 200 megabytes.
    • - Access to personal data: please refer to our contractual documentation and/or VIDAA privacy notice.
    • - Duration: Where applicable, specific retention periods are mentioned in the table above. In general, product data is only retained for as long as is necessary to provide the services and to meet security and legal data retention requirements. Event/log data is not deleted, but archived after 2 years of storage. Temporary file data is deleted after 1 year of storage.
    • - Delete on device: you can remove the usage data/log data resident on the device by performing a factory reset; more information on how to perform a factory reset and what the impact is can be found in the VIDAA user manual.
    • - Delete in account: you can view, download or delete your account data on my.vidaa.com .
    • - Withdraw consent for certain optional features: you can enable or disable optional features (e.g. enhanced viewing, HbbTV) at any time in your Smart TV settings. This will also end the generation of data for these optional features.


3. Product data generated by smart remote

When you use the smart remote that comes with your smart TV running a VIDAA operating system, certain data will be generated by your use of the smart remote. The product data categories mentioned below were based on industry standards, specifically ISO/IEC 19994-1 and ISO/IEC 24752 (universal remote control).

4. Service data generated by the VIDAA Smart TV App

The owner of the related service data generated by the VIDAA Smart TV App is VIDAA USA Inc., 7310 McGinnis Ferry Road, Suwanee, GA 30024, United States, acting as the service data owner.

The VIDAA Smart TV app, as a connected service, generates data about user actions and events (including metadata) (“Service Data”) related to connected products (Smart TV). The categories of product data mentioned below were based on industry standards, in particular ISO/IEC 19994-1.

3. Data retention and deletion

  • Retention: Raw service data files are archived after 2 years of storage. Data in temporary tables is deleted after 1 year of storage.
  • Delete on device: You can clear your app/browser cache and cookies from your app's Settings.

  • Security: We use industry standard controls to secure Service Data. More information about the security of VIDAA services and products can be found here: https://www.vidaa.com/security/ .
  • Data protection : Please note that some of the Service Data mentioned above may be considered personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation. For more information on how personal data is processed, please see our VIDAA Privacy Notice.
  • Trade Secrets: Service Data may contain trade secrets of VIDAA. More information can be found in the End User License Agreement.
